ABOUT

Stage Manager, Production Manager, Producer and Theatre Maker

Lachlan is a Sydney based Theatre Maker and Producer with a passion for Musical Theatre and new Australian work.

Lachlan is currently in his third year at the 'National Institute of Dramatic Art', completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts: Technical Theatre and Stage Management. Most recently, Lachlan was on secondment with Darlinghurst Theatre Company as the Assistant Stage Manager for A Chorus Line.

 

For NIDA, Lachlan’s credits include: Production Manager | When the Rain Stops Falling, Creative Producer & Technical Designer | Ghost Lights, Deputy Stage Manager | God of Carnage, Stage Manager | Big Blue Sky: A Peter Garrett Story, Production Stage Manager | NIDA Graduation 2019 and Assistant Stage Manager | Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown.

Lachlan has worked for companies such as Australian Theatre for Young People and Red Line Productions.

His other work includes: The Blue Bird (Midnight Feast Theatre Company), Relative Merits (LHE Agency) as Stage Manager and Lighting Designer, Everyone I've Ever Loved or Slept with or Both (Revolving Days) as Producer for Sydney Fringe 2018.

 

In 2021, Lachlan hopes to continue working in Stage and Company Management, while also exploring Producing as a means to provide opportunities for emerging artists and give back to the artistic community that paved the way for him.

In such a critical moment in our history, where the artistic landscape in Australia has been impacted by the current world events, Lachlan is dedicated to the continued life and success of this industry, and inspired to be a part of this changing and shifting frontier of Digital and Live performance.
